Kira is the youngest child in her family, with one older brother named Andrew. She had a decent childhood and got along for the most part with her family.  But not all things stayed that way. It was just before she graduated high school that her father passed away. It was a complete mystery as to how or why, when he was in perfect health and as far as everyone knew, no enemies to want him gone. Though it was ruled a suicide, Kira felt there was more. It was the reason she got into forensics, she wanted to solve what had happened to her father, and to help bring closure to others who might be going through the same thing.

But, she has a fondness for gaming, too, thanks to growing up playing nothing but games with her brother and his friends. So, to balance things she enjoyed, she took up to gaming online (think WoW and similar type games) and took some light college courses to gain enough credits and start an apprenticeship for the local police and crime labs. Between gaming and her job, she was able to afford to move into her brother's house and pay rent. It wasn't much, but he was gone often enough with his job that she didn't worry about being bothered much and it gave him peace of mind that his house could be watched when he was away.

-Due to her odd fascination with forensics, she can come off pretty strange and isn't very sociable, except at her job. She's awkward, and this has been taken as her being rude to some people. But she is strong willed, stubborn, and is prone to being emotional-
