Aspen grew up in the tropical land of Hawaii, spending her first ten years there. But, her parents divorced and her father at the time was the more fit parent. So, he had gotten custody of her and moved them to Vail, where he got a job as a contractor/designer. Aspen still got to spend her summers with her mother, but as she grew older and her mother remarried, her visits were shorter each year, until she all but stopped going. Even though she rarely say her father due to his job, she had a much better relationship with him, and was glad she had one parent to count on.

She spent her free time hiking with a camera, dressing herself up in costumes and doing improv photo shoots with herself, or on the occasion, a friend. When she finished high school, she dove into college and spent four years earning her degree in video editing and continued honing her skills with a camera. She landed odd jobs for local magazines to help promote Vail for travel or wildlife, their exquisite resorts, and did a few small videos for local businesses and eventually started expanding to bigger venues in the area, and even traveling out of town for others.

-Aspen can come off with an attitude, especially if she is working on a project. She takes things seriously when it comes to her work and refuses to do less than perfect. But, she can be a softie and a pushover at times, which has led her to some troubling spots growing up, but she is learning to have more confidence in herself and being able to use her voice to stand up for herself.-
